Grigoryev Vitaly
Was born on September 29, 1957 in Kishinev, Moldova.
In 1988 he was accepted to the National Union of USSR Artists.
Nowadays he is a member of the National Union of Ukrainian Artists (1991).
He works in the unique technique and not typical for Transcarpathian School genre of hyperrealism. His paintings (mostly portraits and still lifes) are created with the masterful precision of the forms and essence of the subject and human, they carry the aura of subtlety, detachment, and hidden. Each artist`s work is like a frozen snapshot of the emotion, time and space. The artist held more than two dozen personal exhibitions in Ukraine, Germany and the United States. In 1988 he painted six still lifes for the residence of the President of the USSR M.S. Horbachov in Foros, the Crimea. The artist`s works are at the museums of Ukraine, Russia, Moldova as well as in private collections in many countries of the world.
