Burch Vasyl (1919-1993)
Was born on January 2, 1919 in the village of Smolohovytsa, Irshava, Transcarpathia.
In 1952 he graduated the Gorky Teacher’s Training College in Kyiv.
A member of the National Union of Ukrainian Artists since 1969.
Well-known Transcarpathian painter, educational activist, linguist. Honored teacher of Ukraine. Award state decorations 2 6 orders and medals. In 1947 he graduated teachers professional courses drawing and dyskryptyvy Y.Bokshaya and A.Erdeli. Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine since 1969. Author of several solo exhibitions. Master colorful and exquisite landscapes executed in classical traditions of Transcarpathian school of painting.
He died in 1993 in Uzhgorod Transcarpathian region.
