Betsa Vasyl (1949-2013)
Was born on January 11, 1949 in the village of Skotarske, Volovets, Transcarpathia.
In 1968 he graduated Uzhhorod College of Applied Arts, Department of Painting, and in 1978 the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in St.Petersburg, Department of Art Textiles.
A member of the National Union of Ukrainian Artists since 1985.
Honored Artist of Ukraine 2008
Winner of the Y.Bokshay and A.Erdely regional prize for work "Barcelona improvisation" 2012
